Class Description

PILATES Types

Equipment Pilates

Your Physiotherapist will develop your own individual program in a 1:1 appointment, targeting your goals and needs; Maybe you want to improve your flexibility? Spend longer in the garden (without paying for it later)? Run faster, further or easier? This class could be your answer.


Mat Pilates

Fun, circuit-based Pilates class, where you can experience our range of large and small equipment and choose the right challenge level for you.


Post-Natal Pilates (Bubs welcome)

Reconnect with your body and use this mindful movement practice to get yourself moving and feeling well. Every women is different and every birth is different, therefore our skilled physiotherapist will tailor a program to your needs. A pre-class assessment is required to get started for this reason.

Your program will have a specific focus on safe and effective re-training of the lumbar spine and pelvis to get you feeling strong and moving well. A chance to support and care for the most important person in your bub's life - you.


Lunchtime Express Pilates

High intensity, low impact - feel great in your lunch break. We take the best from our Pilates repertoire and sequence Pilates exercises carefully into fast-moving lunch time class. While the class lasts for 30 minutes to get you back to work on time, you have access to the studio and our equipment for 45 minutes if you need time to stretch out after.


YOGA

This intermediate level Yoga class is designed to build strength and flexibility and challenge you to your edge. Be prepared to work in a mindful and fun way.


Hatha-Flow Yoga

Traditional yoga practice, blending mindfulness, movement and meditation. Some poses are performed individually, while others are sequenced carefully to blend together.


Yoga Flow

Dynamic vinyasa class, which connects breath with mindful movement to build power, strength and flexibility. Each posture flows smoothly into the next in a grounding way. Throughout the class you can expect to move, lengthen and strengthen your entire body as you calm and focus your mind.


Yin Yoga

Yin is a practice of surrender, allowing us to let go of long held tension within the body and mind. Learning to be still and quiet with yourself and no distractions is a rare opportunity to enhance self awareness on all levels (physical, mental, emotional and spiritual).


Stretch and Flex

This lunch-time yoga based class class incorporates stretching with easy to follow yoga poses, followed by a lovely relaxation component to end. For all levels of experience.


Pre-Natal Yoga

A special six-week course blending various yoga styles, experience and approaches to prepare your body and mind for labour and the wonderful journey into motherhood. The full course includes invaluable information sessions from a lactation consultant and paediatric dental therapist. We think it’s the most comprehensive Pre-Natal Yoga course around.
