Class Description

PILATES Class Types

Group Physio 

Your Physiotherapist will develop your own individual program in a 1:1 appointment, targeting your goals and needs; Maybe you want to improve your flexibility? Recover from injury? Support your body during pregnancy? Or simply get in shape. This class could be your answer. 

 

Mat Pilates

Feel the burn in this fun dynamic circuit class. Each week a different program to help you build strength, tone and get your heart rate up. A blend of mat exercises and Pilates equipment. This class is run by either a Physiotherapist or Exercise Physiologist dependant on the time you choose. So you are in great hands. 

 
Post-Natal Pilates (Bubs welcome)

Reconnect with your body and use this mindful movement practice to get yourself moving and feeling well in a safe environment. Whether you are trying to strengthen a certain area of sorness or support. Or just want to be feeling your best after bubs. 

Your program will have a specific focus on safe and effective re-training of the lumbar spine and pelvis to get you feeling strong and moving well. A chance to support and care for the most important person in your bub's life - you.

 

YOGA +  MEDITATION Classes

Yin Yoga

Yin is the practice of surrender, allowing us to let go of long held tention within the body and mind. Learning to be still and quite within yourself with no distractions is a rare treat. This practice will enhance self awareness on all levels physical, mental , emotional and spiritual.

 

Vinyasa Flow

Vinyasa flow, where you work your body mind and spirit into the deepest layers. With deeper sense of grounding into the poses. You will experience a strong workout in a gentle and caring way. Leaving you feeling relaxed, unfolded and a feeling of bliss. This class is for all experiences, but expect to be challenged. 

 

Hatha Flow

Traditional yoga practice, blending mindfulness, movement and meditation. Some poses are performed individualy, while others are sequenced carefully to blend together. Wednesdays class will also incorporate elimates of Pilates. 

 
Strong Yoga

Feel like your ready to up your yoga practice? Come along to this class to challenge and extend yourself.  Be guided in a safe environment to play in the areas of head stands, arm stands and the more challenging aspects of Ashtunga Yoga. ( Minimum 12 months regular Yoga practice is essential)

 
Yin / Yang Yoga

Yang is dynamic, heating, strengthening. Yin is calm , quite and still. We need both to create harmony and balance. This the perfect class for those who like to move their body and build strength. The class starts with dynamic poses followed by long held passive yin poses for deep stretching, stillness and meditation.
